As a landscape photographer who appreciates both beauty and practicality, I found Celina to be an intriguing choice for a getaway. Nestled near delightful lavender fields, this hotel provides a perfect blend of luxury and value. The location is fantastic, with a mere stroll to the charming center of Valensole, yet it offers the privacy and security of a gated property—ideal for weary travelers like myself. The spacious rooms come equipped with an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and comfortable sitting area, adding a touch of convenience without excessive extravagance. The dining experience was another highlight; I indulged in well-prepared meals at the in-house restaurant, enjoying the outdoor dining area under a large wooden roof. On the night of our late return from a photoshoot, the staff’s effort to whip up pizza was quite appreciated. It’s noteworthy to mention that the kitchen accommodates guests even outside operating hours—a thoughtful touch. Celina balances comfort with sensible pricing.
